Every month we try to get out to an area New Jersey Animal Shelter to take much needed volunteer portraits of the available dogs for adoption at an area shelter. We try to theme them around a holiday. This time I got to go to St Hubert’s Noahs Ark in Ledgewood, NJ to get these fun Easter shelter portraits.

Volunteering at shelters is a great way for new photographers to get out into the community and learn to deal with clients, expectations, deadlines, etc.
